I have decided to exit my very cosy comfort zone and try and fundraise as much as I possibly can for Cancer Research. I will be trying to achieve this by embarking on 8 weeks of MMA training culminating in an event by Ultra MMA in which I will fight three 2 minute rounds on April 13th at the John Charles Centre in Leeds.

I have being affected by the devastating effects of cancer in 2016 when after a long battle with lymphoma, my wife and mum to our 4 year old son passed away. This makes Cancer Research a charity close to me and so many others who have been affected in some capacity.

I have wanted to train to do MMA for a long time but always made excuses up as to why I can't or shouldn't do it. Now I feel is the time to put up or shut up.

Tickets for the event are also available and it would be amazing to have as much support as possible.
