Hi Everyone

My names Daniel Houghton and I am currently taking part in an 8 week tough training program in order to complete a charity boxing match against an unknown competitor as part of the White collar boxing event. The event itself is 3 x 2 minute rounds.

The event itself is taking part on Saturday 25th March at the Black-E building in Liverpool. Tickets are available for the event at just £25 each which you can obtain from contacting me personally.

My chosen charity for the event is PTSD Resolution, a fantastic nationwide charity that helps Veterans, TA and Reservists who are struggling to reintegrate into a normal work & family life because of military trauma suffered during service in the armed forces.

Trauma causes flashbacks, nightmare, anger and depression - often leading to violence, alcohol and substance misuse, job loss, family breakdown and even suicide.

through a nationwide network of 200 accredited therapists, PTSD provides treatment to enable veterans and reservists to resolve the mental health problem's associated with military trauma that obstruct a normal range of family and wok relationships.

I would really appreciate any donations you could give as part of the training and event as it really will go towards changing the lives of many individuals suffering with PTSD. PTSD Resolution is a fantastic charity offering support and help to individuals suffering with PTSD all over the UK. PTSD Resolution has no salaried staff, assets or fixed overheads. Therefore all funds raised exclusively go towards promoting, supporting and counselling of the armed forces.
