Why do I want your money... 

In a moment of madness (probably with a large wine in hand) I agreed to sign up for Tough Mudder... 12 miles, 20 obstacles, electric shocks, an ice bath and tons of mud...and it's in London so I'm even travelling for this bag of fun! As this could end up being the last ever thing I do, I decided I might as well make it for a good cause! 

Cancer sucks and has impacted far too many of my friends and families lives. 5 years ago my dad was diagnosed with kidney cancer so part of my motivation to finish is making sure I raise some money for Kidney Cancer Scotland. Also, if there is money at stake there is more chance I'll finish it and not strop off the course with a fake injury! 

So dig deep and I'll even share embarrassing video and photo evidence. We've got 6 weeks left to train so you'll have to listen to me whinging about it for the next 6 weeks. And then if I do complete it talk about it for the six weeks after so you may as well sponsor me... 

About the Charity 

Kidney Cancer Scotland work to raise awareness of the symptoms and support research into prevention and treatment. Every year 10,000 people get diagnosed with kidney cancer and it's the 8th most common cancer.
