As many of you will already know 2022 marks the 10th Anniversary for the Waltham Tea Annual Gardens Bikeathon!!

The bikeathon was created in memory of two very special men who passed away in 2012. My Dad, Paul Roe and also Andy Tofton who where both regulars in the Tea Gardens.

Over 9 years (2 of which we could not complete due to Covid, so technically 7 years) we have raised an amazing £56,000. This is the first year we have decided to create a justgiving page and give people who do not attend on the day the opportunity to donate if they wish, and hopefully this will help towards the 2 years we have been unable to complete the bikeathon.  

Paul's chosen charity was Humberston Hydrotherapy Pool and Andy's was St Andrews Hospice. Although this page states St Andrews Hospice is the chosen charity, the bikeathon splits their donations between them both.

For the 10th year we would love to exceed the £60k mark, so for anyone who cannot make it on the day or for anyone in general who would like to help us get to our target, no matter how small, we will be very grateful for your donations.

Thank you for everyone who has supported us over the 10 years, from each rider who signs up, to anyone who helps us on the day and gives up their own time in order to make sure the day goes smoothly. We could not do it without you!! 

Details of the bikeathon are below (please note we are capping the ride at around 140 riders due to Health and Safety) so if possible try not to leave your sign up until the day.
