Hi everyone - firstly thank you for your visiting JustGiving page!

In April 2019 I completed my first marathon in support of the Institute of Cancer Research, a cause very close to my heart having lost my dad to cancer 2 years ago. We have sadly all been affected by cancer in some way and it has now been 2 years since my Dad, David suddenly passed away following his battle with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. He was just 59 years old and we all miss him so much. Being a runner and very sporty himself, he would love that I am taking on this challenge for a second time!

I feel passionate to continue to support the ICR as they are one of the worlds most influential cancer research organisations and are rated one of the top centres for cancer research and treatment worldwide. Together with their partner, The Royal Marsden, they are leaders in identifying cancer genes, discovery cancer drugs and developing precision radiotherapy. The ICR have already made great advances against cancer, but our support is vital for them to continue. The more an organisation is funded, the bigger the potential for impact and ultimately more lives can be saved. 

I am super excited to be given the opportunity to run the London Marathon again this year and be part of this fantastic team. Any donation no matter the size would be incredible and greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for your support.
