Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my justgiving page.

Hi to all

We are venturing into the wilderness of Regent's Park for a 5km family walk in support of JDRF.  In a nutshell, JDRF has as its principle objective finding a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.  It is staffed and supported by fantastic people who in addition to pursuing the principle goal, contribute enormously towards research into therapies and technology that makes the patients' life (and their families) much better.

As most of you will know, our eldest Maya was diagnosed as Type 1 in April 2007.  Maya and other kids with this condition have to endure quite an unusual life with daily checks, monitoring, medications etc.  They all do it with great courage and exemplary spirit and soon take it all in their strides.

We would be very grateful for any support small or big that you can make to this wonderful cause that is of course so close to our hearts.

Love to all

Danielle Etay Maya Ori and Yuli (and grandad Amram and uncle Roy)
