Caudwell Children transforms the lives of disabled children across the UK. We act as a safety net for families who are unable to gain the help they need. We provide family support services, equipment, treatment and therapies for disabled children and their families across the UK.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I will be embarking on a massive challenge of Swimming 1 Mile in Lake Windermere in the , to raise money for Caudwell Children. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U3UcQUyLqoA)

I do a fundraising event every year to raise money for this amazing charity and this year it will mean putting ourselves through freezing cold temperatures and physical exhaustion in the open waters of Lake Windermere.

Please help to make it worth it by sponsoring me what you can.

Caudwell Children is a national charity which is committed to changing the lives of children by providing individual donations of specialist equipment, treatment and therapy as well as its annual ‘Destination Dreams’ holiday for families coping with a child’s terminal illness.

To date the Charity has donated over £12 million to thousands of children with more than 300 different medical conditions. What makes the Charity unique is that all the administration and management costs are covered by entrepreneur-turned-philanthropist, John Caudwell, meaning that every penny raised can go directly to the children

To meet some of the children and see where every penny of your donation will go watch this short clip:

Kindest Regards,

Dan
