Sadly more animals than ever are being abandoned and neglected, the Mayhew takes care of them and I'm delighted to be able to help out by running a Half Marathon.

The Mayhew also runs the ground breaking Therapaws programme, where animals are taken into care homes to visit the sick, or those suffering from diseases like Alzheimers.

They also help train overseas vets - there is a picture in my gallery of a kitten rescued from a burning building in Tbilisi, Georgia, who was treated and rehomed while the Mayhew were out there doing some training!

I know everyone wants your money and times are hard but whatever you can spare will be warmly received and put to great use. Thank you for your time - and hopefully for your donation as well!
