I may not be the Worlds Best Athlete, Usain Bolt I aint !! but I am attempting the Great South Run in October and Hopefully the London Marathon Next year to Raise money for Charing Cross Hospital in Hammersmith. 

Myself and Nikki went through a really rough time a few years back with a miscarrage whilst trying to start a family. After dealing with the loss of a baby we were then told that the pregnancy was a rare 'Molar Pregnancy' and we would need to be referred to Charing Cross Hospital so Nikki could have regular blood tests.  After a couple of months of undergoing tests Nikki was then diagnosed with Gestational Trophablastic Disease which is a rare cancer in women caused by the Mole. Nikki had to undergo weeks of  Chemotherapy and in the early stages of the treatment  the quality of service and support provided by Charing Cross was second to none, they were really great and helped through the process of Chemo. Nikki had done remarkable and through her strength pulled through all the tests and therapy associated with the Chemo.

I would like to thank Charing Cross for all their hard work and to try and raise funds to assist in future research and awareness of this rare and life changing disease.

Thankfully we managed to get pregnant again, i say we Nikki did !! and now have a lovely full of life 2 year old girl named Darcy, which i'm sure if it wasnt for Charing Cross and the bravery of Nikki i wouldn't be blessed today with them both in my life.
