Hi!

My name is Darren and I am the Development Worker for Aiming Higher in Blackpool! The main aim of this fundraiser is to inspire others to do the same, hey even for us if you want, but more for you to keep yourself mentally and physically  fit during Lockdown. We have provided many thousands of activities packs since last March and any money we receive in sponsorship will go towards the provision of these and hopefully activities in the center when we return to normal. Aiming Higher is a non profit charity that  supports the families of children and young people with additional needs. Without doubt these children can bring immense pleasure. However due to the complexity of some of our children’s conditions, families find it difficult to access activities. Families experience many barriers and can become isolated and suffer further hardship.We support these families hosting family events at suitable locations, subsidising the cost of activities and providing stay and play groups and counselling sessions at our Blackpool base.
