So we are both running the Manchester 10K this year to raise money for the charity The Lesbian & Gay Foundation (LGF).

We would massively appreciate any donation you can give, whether it be large or small - every penny helps! It's a superb charity and we would be thrilled to meet our target.

Unfortunately many Gay and Lesbian people don't have a fantastic support network in the shape of family and friends like we do.
Even today, many individuals are bullied, ostracised and even attacked for simply being gay. They will often have nobody to seek help from and will very alone in the world. Today, there are STILL young gay people taking their own lives because of the torture they go through. The LGF is here to provide support, counselling, sexual advice, along with fighting for equal rights and striving for an overall goal of ending homophobia.
It is crazy that gay people are still ill treated in today's modern society, so please donate to this very worthy cause.
