Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Lee Robson was first diagnosed in 2002 after serving a tour of Kenya for the British army. After 4 courses of chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant Lee went into remission.
Shortly after Lee began fundraising for bright red and became their first ambassador.
In 2012 after completing a 500 mile bike ride in aid of bright red to raise funds for the first outreach nurse Lee was given the devastating news that his leukaemia had returned for the second time. This time Lee received 2 courses of chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant.
However in June 2013, Lee and his family were told his leukaemia had returned a third time and was now terminal. He was given 3-4 months to live.
In only 3 weeks Lee passed away surrounded by his loving family.
In honour of Lee and all of his effort and commitment to bright red, they re named their patient grants in his memory.
Now, I am returning to the cage after 3 years to fight for the Lee Robson Patient Grants. I am fighting at Stanley Civic Hall on Saturday 17th September against John Chopper Stone.
Please come along and support this amazing charity.
Thank you
