I ran my first London marathon 5 years ago. After getting cramp and limping the last 8 miles I promised myself I would have another crack. What better time to do it then two weeks after my 40th birthday. Apart from the atmosphere and encouragement from every spectator, what drove me to the finish line was the amazing charity Phab. Knowing that the money I was raising would be able to provide for these amazing children outweighed the pain. I did not hesitate in contacting Phab again this time around. The support they gave me throughout my training and on the day demonstrated the fantastic support the charity provides
Phab promotes the coming together on equal terms of disabled and non-disabled people to make more of life together - through our exciting and challenging holiday projects for disabled and disadvantaged children and young people and 170 local Phab Clubs across England and Wales with 8,000 members.Thank you for supporting Phab and Phabkids - it makes such a difference
Here we go 26.2 miles I am coming to get you
