We support people with BBS to to understand their condition and thrive

Story

Our neighbours, like us have a young beautiful family and their little boy, Ollie has recently been diagnosed with a very rare condition called Bardet Biedl Syndrome (BBS).

What is Bardet Biedl Syndrome (BBS)?

Bardet Biedl Syndrome is a rare genetic disorder, affecting 1 in 250,000 across the World with highly variable symptoms which may include retinal degeneration, obesity, and reduced kidney function.

There is currently no cure for BBS, but that does not mean that there is nothing that can be done to help people with BBS.
Children with BBS benefit greatly from therapies like physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and vision services so any donations will really make a difference to those with BBS.

Your support in donations mean that Ollie and his family know they are not alone and that they have support from family, friends and good people that want to help make a difference.
