Myeloma UK is the only organisation in the UK dealing exclusively with myeloma. We make it possible to live longer and better lives with myeloma. Through research and treatments, we find new ways to a cure. Together, we are the cure.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am going to run the Plymouth Half Marathon on 28th April 2013 in memory of Dad who battled his myeloma for 6 years. Dad had a variety of treatments, including some chemotherapy drugs that weren't available when he was first diagnosed, but he died on 9th May 2012. I want to raise as much money as possible to help Myeloma UK fund research into more new treatments and support for patients and families, and this Half Marathon is a great way to do something positive as the first anniversary approaches.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
