Any that know me... know that Round Table and The Anthony Nolan Trust is at the core of what I am about.

In my year as National President of Round Table Great Britain and Ireland, I have set myself the target of trying to raise personally £100,000 for The Anthony Nolan Trust which is a cause that does so much good work and never ceases to move me whenever I hear stories of it's successes.

Many would also know that I am no runner, forgetting where my car is parked means too much walking for me so as this challenge knocks me into shape, I'm hoping that I can tap into your generosity for this most fantastic of causes.

To repeat... I will be COMPLETING IT and not COMPETING IN IT.

One of my closest friends, Jim Conway, has offered to help me around both physically and psychologically and I suspect he will have his hands full !!

Jim is an accomplished marathon runner and I know he will be sacrificing his own personal targets and potential achievements to help me achieve mine.

I am hoping that I can encourage anyone that visits this page to also find out more about The Anthony Nolan Trust.

And I am also hoping that some no, in fact many, other Round Table members can cheer me along on the day and I hope we can get as many as possible to be along side every mile marker with my Shark Round Table Rondel.  (see my pages on here)

Believe me I will need to see and count down every one in my challenge to get to the finish.

Please help me in whatever way you can.

At the very least, tell me you'll have a beer in hand and you'll cheer at the TV..!!
