Sponsorship for a Great Cause—
The Three Peaks Challenge: One Challenge. Three Peaks. 24 Hours.

Dave McCloskey, Steve Harney and Kevin Day will be doing the Three Peaks Challenge on Saturday 29th June 2013—Great Britain’s Highest Peaks: Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and Snowdon in Wales, all in 24 hours to raise money for a great cause... The Foort Foundation and Macmillan Cancer Support.

Karen Foort is 45 and married with three children. Last year Karen was diagnosed with bowel cancer and underwent surgery to remove the tumour and had six months intensive chemotherapy. Throughout this she stayed positive and even won Tennis Player of the Year at her club.  Unfortunately, in a subsequent scan it was discovered the cancer had spread to her liver and ovaries. Karen has now had further surgery to remove the tumours and is starting specialist treatment in Germany, as the chemotherapy has not been successful. This treatment is not funded by the NHS and we hope to raise money towards this. Each treatment she has costs £3,000. We want to make our Three Peaks Challenge count and would like to invite you to make a donation to a very worthwhile cause which is close to our hearts. Karen has appreciated all the help and support she has received from Macmillan Cancer Charity and hopes to donate 10% of the money raised to the MacMillan nurses, who have been a fantastic help to Karen and thousands like her.

So please dig deep and donate to our worthy cause. Thank you.
