Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.Last year, in a fit of stupidity, post Friday club, I decided I wanted a challenge. thankfully I also have some wonderful friends that are just a stupid as I am. Dave Lamb, Paul Camp, Andy Eastaugh and I decided that attempting to walk the Exmoor section of the South West coast path in 15 hours or less non-stop would be a worthy challenge.

The walk will comprise of 36 miles of gruelling climbs and descents, with a total climb of 3000 meters,  some stunning scenery and maybe the odd ice-cream if time allows.

And so, here we are. So, the plan is for Paul, Andy, Dave and me to walk all the three sections of the coast path from Combe Martin to Minehead (36miles & 3000 meters of climb) in 15hours. We will start on 11th June at 0430 hrs and aim to be in to Minehead at approx 1900hrs. There will be very brief water/sock stops in Lynmouth and Porlock weir. Any one that would like to join us for a "leg" is more than welcome but you must provide your own transport and refreshments etc.

This is a real challenge and we really hope to raise a significant amount for Wooden Spoon charity. Please have a look at their website and understand why we are doing what we are.

Many thanks xx
