To celebrate our 70th birthday year at Age UK Shropshire Telford & Wrekin we would like you to take on a 'Platinum Challenge' and raise funds to support older people in your community.

Story

With Age UK (Shropshire Telford and Wrekin) recently celebrating its 70th birthday, and me doing the same on 2nd April, I am taking the Platinum Challenge and will walk 70kms (at least) during the week following my birthday to raise money for the organisation.

I will be doing a series of socially-distanced walks during the week, including the Oswald Trail (around Oswestry, the Wart Hill Wander (from Craven Arms) and the Shrewsbury to Telford Trek (via footpaths and byways).

I strongly support Age UK (STW)'s core priorities of reducing loneliness and isolation, supporting people living with dementia  and providing information and advice and would therefore request whatever support or sponsorship you are able to give. Thank you so much to those who have already contributed!
