Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Sunday 26th May I'm running the Edinburgh Marathon in memory of my fiancee Deborah who sadly died of secondary breast cancer last November, age just 36. She was incredibly brave till the end and is terribly missed by all that knew her as she touched our hearts in her own special way. Along with the hospital staff and Palliative Care nurses, the Marie Curie provided Deborah with the care and support she needed during the final days of her life. The above picture shows Debs and I enjoying a wee glass of bubbly during a picnic. She was truly beautiful and will always hold a special place in my heart. Go to Youtube and watch a short film about Debs created by her nephew Lewis - type in 'Remembering Deborah Hanlon' - its wonderfull!.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So friends, in memory of my beloved Debs and to help the Marie Curie continue their excellent work, please dig deep and donate what you can. Myself, Debs family and those affectred by cancer will be truly grateful..
