Hi everyone!

I'm spending the last three days of October this year riding over 400km from Canberra to Sydney in aid of Tour de Cure. 

Tour de Cure are an organisation who raise money to provide grants to cancer research and support groups, in order to try and bring about an end to cancers of all forms. Since 2007, projects funded by Tour de Cure have led to 21 significant breakthroughs in cancer care.

This year's CAN4Cancer will fund:

 - A grant of A$200,000 to the OlympiA breast cancer clinical trial (Details)

 - An A$80,000 pioneering grant to Professor Maria Kavallaris (University of NSW) for her research into precision nanomedicine for the treatment of neuroblastoma, a highly aggressive childhood cancer (Details)

The costs of the ride are covered by the riders, as well as a huge amount of organisation and support being undertaken by volunteers, which means all of the money donated will go direct to these causes.
