Help us to spread some festive joy by providing Christmas presents for people with mental health problems in Hastings.

Story

I am walking from the Woodlands Centre for Acute Care in Hastings, to the Department of Psychiatry in Eastbourne to raise money for Christmas presents, prizes for activities and festive treats for people staying in our inpatients units over Christmas. These things are important as they motivate people to get engaged and create fun over the festive season, when it's difficult to be in hospital. The Christmas presents are really important as for some people, it's the only present they will receive.

The walk is approximately 18 miles and I'm planning on completing the route in under 5 hours.

Apart from doing some long distance walking 30 years ago, I've never done anything like this before!

Any amount of sponsorship that you could give would be hugely appreciated and would make a real difference to our service users this Christmas.
