Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We have set this page up in memory of dear Dad, Martin Cox who sadly passed away on Sunday the 6th January 2019. My Dad was diagnosed with NASH/cirrhosis of the liver a year and a half ago....he was a non drinker, he did not drink a single drop of alcohol so this condition can effect anybody not just those who drink alcohol.  So I would like to make people aware of this and do all I can to help this amazing charity who work tirellsy to help people like my Dad with this condition. The amount of care they gave my Dad was nothing short of amazing and when you see on a daily basis just how much equipment, medicines, staff etc that goes into look after just one patient it really opens your eyes to just how important all the research is and the importance of maintaining all the medicines, equipment and staff for current and future patients. Alothough my Dad did not receive a liver transplant an unfortunately passed away from this disease, the staff done an amazing job looking after my Dad and tried so hard to get him better, they also made him very comfortable and did everything they could for him. Us as a family really appreciate all they did for my Dear Dad and if we can help anyone in the future in any little way we would be truly honoured. Every donation big or small will be a huge help for future research, care and let’s hope in the future save even more lives.

Many thanks to you all! Much love❤️
