Everybody's at it, so why not me?! My cousin Alan has just done the ice-bucket challenge to raise funds for ALS, a very worthwhile cause.

Since I work for a charity (ERIC) I feel duty-bound to raise funds for them. Plus we could really make good use of the funds to help children and their families with the struggles they face when dealing with continence problems.

Isolation, bullying, lack of understanding, and discomfort are just a few of the multiple difficulties that a child with a continence (bladder or bowel) problem can face. A few pounds of your money can go a long way to helping them by providing support or advice to the family, improving awareness among health professionals, or in schools.
