Hull & East Yorkshire Medical Research Centre (Daisy Appeal) opened in 2008. The charity built the Jack Brignall PET-CT Scanning Centre in 2014. In 2024 we built a Molecular Imaging Research Centre to produce PET CT tracers. We are fundraising for a £3m digital scanner to help save more lives.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

My dad has sadly being diagnosed with terminal cancer and you can imagine how devastating this news was for all of us. His bravery and determination has inspired myself (Rach) and my best friend Sara to try and raise some money for this charity which has been personally chosen by him. The Daisy Appeal will improve the survival chances of thousands of people each year and give them and their families a brighter future. So to try and raise loads of dosh for this fantastic charity, we are going to attempt to run 100K each over the course of 24 hours.

Please, find it in your hearts to donate - it means so much and it will inspire us to complete our challenge.
