Story

Dear Friends,

As we're sure you know, David suddenly passed away in November last year. We'd like to express our thanks to those that are able to attend his memorial held at the Emirates Stadium, home of one of his great passions - Arsenal FC.

David's career in television spanned over 30 years, starting at the BBC before founding and leading RDF to become one of the UK's most successful indies. He later founded TRX and Rocket Rights working side by side with his brother, Matthew, for much of his career.

David had a passion for TV and he was immensely proud of the culture he built at RDF that nurtured so many talented people as they embarked on or furthered their careers in the industry. One common theme we've heard since David's passing from former RDF'ers was the impact he had on them and that RDF was the best place they had worked.

As a result, we want to continue what he started and help people make their way in the television industry. To do this, we will be raising money for the National Film and Television School to provide a bursary for a TV related course in David's name to help make television a diverse and creative space in which to work.

Many thanks for your generosity and support over the past few months.

Lots of love,

The Frank Family xx
