Abseiling the Arcelomittal Orbit with The Kids Network · 20 September 2019

The Kids Network supports little Londoners at a crucial time in their development, providing a year of one-to-one mentoring to help them increase their confidence, wellbeing, resilience and happiness.

Story

I’m abseiling 80 meters down from the Arcelormittal Orbit to support a brilliant charity, The Kids Network, which helps children at a crucial time in their development by providing them with a volunteer mentor and they need your support. London is bursting with young professionals who are more connected than ever, yet often feel isolated and anonymous with no real rooting to their community. The Kids Network are uniting these individuals; children and young professionals, for a more inclusive London by connecting for change.

A colleague is a trustee of the Kids Network and a group of use are doing this together.  So while I’m dangling above London with my heart thumping and hands clenched firmly round the rope, your donations will be helping kids build confidence, resilience and curiosity through a series of positive experiences and activities.

Please donate whatever you can to make it all worthwhile!
