Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 14 September I will, for the umpteenth time, be aiming to cycle 30 miles and visit about 20 churches in order to raise money that will be shared between the Gloucestershire Historic Churches Trust (GHCT) and our own church of St Mary's, Kingswood.  This year there is a real incentive to raise as much money as possible because we need to carry out a complete restoration of our historic William Sweetland organ - the first complete overhaul in its 161 year life. The cost  of this will be around £40,000.  Because it is an important example of Sweetland's work we hope to get much of this in grants, but every penny we can raise ourselves will be very valuable. The GHCT has already promised us £6,000 which is a great encouragement.

I am not asking for mega-sponsorship but, as a certain supermarket keeps telling us, "Every little helps".  This is especially true if that little help can be Gift-aided.
