So many children across the U.K.  love the beautiful game and this is only increasing with a Christmas World Cup in full flow. 

However through poverty, lacking role models and lacking safe spaces and in an increasing number of cases without even boots or a ball many, many thousands in our own country cannot and do not get the opportunity to play the game. The Michael Carrick Foundation wwww.michaelcarrickfoundation.co.uk are actively changing this landscape and give these children the chance to have a go at this wonderful game that surrounds us. Any amount you can spare however small or large will go some way towards changing this. 

4.3 million people were reported to be living in poverty in the U.K. in 2021 and 1 in 10 children reported feeling prolonged periods of loneliness. 

Football is just one thing among many that can help change this. If you have some spare change then help me put a smile on a child’s face some boots on their feet and a ball in their hands.
