Walking the Camino Santiago de Compostela · 4 April 2016

The sanctuary gives a permanent home to over 550 farm animals rescued from neglect, cruelty, starvation and abandonment. We campaign peacefully to improve conditions for farm animals and conditions in livestock markets. At the Sanctuary farm animals are for life and not for slaughter.

Story

Hello and thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm going to be walking the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela from Switzerland; my reasons are many and diverse, but I also wish to help raise finds for the Farm Animal sanctuary, doing wonderful work protecting and helping animals enjoy a peaceful existence! Please help this wonderful cause!

I'll be uploading photos with a short summary and updating my position regularly throughout the journey to Galicia in Spain, which should take about 3-4 months. I'm also on Twitter ( https://twitter.com/NewlifeDn ) and Facebook (  https://www.facebook.com/dnkaren ) so please do spread the word!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

I hope you'll be able to donate a small amount, every penny helps!

My journey begins from Lausanne, Monday 4th April, 2016, please 'follow' my footsteps! :-)

Thank you so much,

David Nathan Karen
