Katherine Astor and I, assisted by various of our children are bicycling from Wellington Barracks, London to Bennecourt, France in aid of The Coldstream Guards Charitable Fund in memory of our Coldstream fathers Colonel Alan Pemberton CVO and Brigadier Sir Jeff Darell Bt. MC

The Fund exists to provide support to Coldstreamers who have been both physically and mentally injured, and to the families of those who have been killed. The Regiment has carried out 3 tours in Afghanistan and sustained a large number of battle casualties, with many suffering life changing injuries. Of course, there also remains the unquantifiable number of young men who will have suffered mentally and who will need our support in the future.

Any contribution will make a difference and will take us nearer to ensuring the Charitable Fund is well placed to continue to support Coldstreamers in need.
