Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 2016 · 31 July 2016 ·

We support patients, our people and visitors at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, St. Margaret’s Hospital and Herts and Essex Hospital. We provide support that is beyond the scope of the NHS, for example purchasing special equipment, improving facilities and investing in vital research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 31st July 2016, myself and 29 other riders will be attempting to complete the Prudential London-Surrey Ride100, a gruelling challenge of 100 mile cycle in under 7 hours though East, Central and West London and also through the rolling hills of Surrey.

I have been personally involved with the Princess Alexandra Hospital Breast Cancer Clinical Trials Charity for many years in a range of capacities and now as Chairman for their Breast Unit Advisory Board- I group of likeminded business and medical professionals who advise the trust on the most effective ways to spend their donations and also how to raise greater funding.

Renowned surgeon Ashraf Patel has helped to change the lives of countless women through his pioneering work and I am proud to call him my friend. Having seen close friends and family battle Breast Cancer, it makes me even more determined to do all in my power to eradicate this disease.

As Tesco used to say, 'every little helps' so even if it just £5, please sponsor me on this arduous challenge- your donation will make a real difference.
