A Southern Counties Chess champion in his youth, our father continued to play throughout his life and was an active member of his local club in his retirement. He felt that Chess gave him a huge amount and would have loved Chess in Schools' work sharing these benefits with young people, prisoners and dementia sufferers to name a few.
