Prader-Willi Syndrome is a rare genetic abnormality causing physical and mental disabilities throughout life. PWSA UK is the only UK organisation dedicated to supporting those with PWS, their families/carers and the professionals involved with them. Please do visit at www.pwsa.co.uk.

Support Worker Sherrie Fisher raised £55 for Zorbing in July, Thank you.

Alex&Alison Winn raised £50, thank you very much.

A cheque for £400 donated by Neville & Gwen Newham for the cause....thats them in the picture accepting last years fundraising initiative which raised £5000 for the PWSA. Thank you very much.

Curry and Quiz night

Raised £600 at the Curry & Quiz night held at Hastings United Football Club see www.praderwillisyndrome.org.uk

 

Gayle and Sanchia raised £170 doing the Hastings half marothan added offline.

THREE PEAKS CHALLENGE

Gayle, Sanchia and Billy completed the three peaks challenge in a time of 11 hrs 10 mins. Donations receive were Mr & Mrs Newham £10. Holden & Co. £250. Hastings Rotary £500. Cash collected by Gayle £345, cash collected by Sanchia & Billy £tba. Well done you three peakers.

Join in the festivities at the New Directions Easter Fun Day…

New Directions will be holding an Easter Fun Day on Sunday 24 April at the Clarence Pub, Silverhill, East Sussex.  There are loads of activities planned including a BBQ, raffle, tombola, dvd horse racing, killer pool, a darts competition and a quiz.  The fun starts at 12 noon – all welcome. 

We,re back with some new and exiting fund raising events throughout the year for the PWSA..

Main events are Three Peaks Challenge 11th June for which we have managed to convince Billy H, Gayle B and Sanchia to take part .

Zorbing down Devils Dyke at speeds of up to 30 MPH in a huge rubber ball has been organised by Alan from Bishops Corner day services and supported by Sanchia now has two dates..July 3rd and July 24th, get your appliacation forms from us at bishops Corner or email us via the website.  www.praderwillisyndrome.org.uk Please hurry I need final numbers by end of April ITS GOING TO BE FUN !!!!!!!!

Once again good old Terry at the Clarence Silverhill has agreed to hold more of our favourite Horse Racing events on DVD first one being Sunday 6th March 2011 2pm onwards all are wellcome.

 Nicky who will be going on maternity leave 1st April is running a book on the weight of her baby so any guesses ??? Proceeds will go to the PWSA.

Gayle and Sanchia completed the Hastings half Marathon on Sunday and still turned up for work on Monday morning looking spritely (or not) Ha Ha
