The QICN is a national charity that works to support vital healthcare for people in their own homes and communities. We work directly with nurses to enhance services through grantmaking, campaigning, training and resources, and through our national network of Queen's Nurses, who lead and inspire.

Story

Helping isolated retired nurses

The Queen's Nursing Institute (QNI) is an amazing charity which trains and supports nurses to volunteer their time to 'keep-in-touch' with retired and isolated community nurses. Find out more at https://www.qni.org.uk/help-for-nurses/keep-in-touch/

This programme of work helps the retired nurses make new friends, re-connect with their profession, share their stories and feel valued. The volunteers feel a new sense of purpose and make new friendships.

How you can help

In its 130th anniversary the QNI is raising money to help sustain this wonderful 'Keep-in-Touch' Project.

You can help over the finishing line and give just £3 to this wonderful programme.

If you want to do even more for isolated retired people, you could send this justgiving link on to 5 more friends, and encourage them to give £3 too.

Thanks

Many thanks for visiting my page and I appreciate all messages of support. They will help me get through the long runs in training!
