Dave's Belgium Triathlon

My mum, Terina Payne, was diagnosed with heart failure in 2017. Although it was a challenge and some days were particularly tough, she tried to live every day to the fullest, radiating positivity, as she always had. Pumping Marvellous played a huge part of her support network following her diagnosis. Last year, I raised over £700 running the Tenby to Polzeath coastal marathon (my first!).
Sadly, mum passed away on December 28th last year. So this year I am aiming to complete the Belgium Long Course weekend - a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile cycle and a full marathon to finish, over 3 days. I am aiming to raise £1000 for Pumping Marvellous!
The Pumping Marvellous Foundation are driven by the needs of heart failure patients, carers and family communities that they serve. They get to the real crux of the problems, the problems that patients tell them they have. Their communities are large and they have superb interactions with them, they run the largest Facebook page dedicated to Heart Failure globally so they fully understand the needs and challenges people face. They develop and distribute patient information to the vast majority of NHS Heart Failure Teams in the UK.
Thank you so much for your support 😊
