I  have volunteered for this fantastic charity several times and on each occasion the impact on the young people on board has been remarkable.  This great organisation provides fun and adventure in an environment well away from the usual home comforts (and distractions) for a range of young people, most from disadvantaged backgrounds.  They typically leave with a sense of achievement, an increased sense of confidence in themselves and an understanding of the fun that can be had when working together with others towards a common aim - irrespective of  whether that is the washing up for all on board or hoisting the main sail in a gale during the night.....
