A MEGA young adults Jumbulance trip to Berlin · 20 May 2017

22 Years creating adventures. Our custom-built Jumbulances offer fully accessible facilities. Our goal is to add to the enjoyment of life by facilitating trips for travellers of all ages, including those with complex health needs, who may feel isolated by insufficient transport or support options.

Story

We are looking to use THE JUMBULANCE to take seriously ill and severely disabled younger adults on holiday with a group of younger carers, nurses and medical team.  A holiday abroad, without parents!! We want everyone to have a holiday together, seeing and doing things able bodied people take for granted.

And we need your help...all the younger carers and nurses are volunteers, paying their own expenses to work with and care for our less abled travellers.  To make this affordable for them, their costs need to be subsidised by up to £600 for each holiday. We are looking to subsidise carers for this year's double Jumbulance "Mega Trip" to Berlin in May 2017 and to start funding for future years' trips.

You can make travel possible and give our friends a holiday of a lifetime!

These are some quotes which go someway to describe what a younger group holiday with The Jumbulance Trust means;

"I found my week with the Jumbulance physically and emotionally exhausting, but I loved every moment. I cried a bit, and there were moments of sadness and frustration, but I have never laughed so much!"
"I feel like I’ve made friends for life, and can’t wait for my next trip."
"The group was another fantastic mix of new people and those who have been on trips before, we all helped each other out and all experienced a fantastic holiday together with lots of laughs and memories"
"My life can be hard sometimes and very stressful; having this holiday saves my sanity. I cannot put into words how much my Jumbulance adventures and my Jumbulance family mean to me."
