The Urostomy Association provides information and support for people with, or considering, a urinary diversion such as urostomy (often as a result of bladder cancer).

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is David Simonds and I have had a Urostomy since the18th March 2009. I knew that my life would change, but with the incredible support of the Urostomy Association I quickly adapted and was able to get on with my life, and in order to give something back, I became a members representative, acting as a voice at National level for a number of UA branches. I will be 50 years old on the 22nd March 2017 and to mark the occasion, so I have challenged myself to use a local gym to cycle the equivalent of 1220 miles, which is the distance between all  the Urostomy Association branches. I am doing this to raise money to help us to be there for future generations of people undergoing bladder removal or other form of urinary diversion, so please support me and help me to raise as much as possible for our wonderful charity.
