We protect butterflies, moths and habitats to save threatened species from extinction

Story

This is in memory of my father Douglas Skinner MBE who passed away on the 24 January 2014.

Dad had a very keen and active interest in all wildlife and nature issues. He was a member of the National Trust, Friends of Weston Birt, Herts & Middlesex Trust and the Butterfly Conservation charity.

It was the Butterfly Conservation Charity that he was most passionate about and often helped raise money for the charity by promoting their activities and "manning the stall" at local functions and wildlife events. He was a member for the last 24 years.

His interest in butterflies can be seen in many of his photos some of which can be found on www.dougskinnerphotography.co.uk

I think Doug would have been very pleased to see donations made in his name being used to protect and preserve these wonderful creatures.

Please do use the Gift Aid option if possible as this will boost the value of your donation.

Thank you.
