In July 2019, I will be going
to Uganda to volunteer with the Child’s I Foundation. Child’s I Foundation aims
to reunite children with their own families, but where this is not possible or
is deemed unsafe, they find loving Ugandan adoptive or foster families for them.
They also help repurpose orphanages into community hubs that can help prevent family
separation occurring in the first instance.

While in Uganda, I will be
staying in Kampala and delivering training sessions to foster carers, social
workers and managers to help support their practice and provide the best care
for the children. Your donations will be used to help children access education,
fund support groups for carers, adopters and children, and provide ongoing
training for carers and adopters to understand and support the ongoing needs of
the children. All donations will be gratefully received by this wonderful,
hardworking organisation.
