We have now completed collecting all  pledged money Thanks to everyone who donated Everyone at Rolls-Royce , All Parents and  Friends , Ted & Dot and Friends , Silvana's school colleagues , neigbours , Colin in sunny Lanzarote and Mrs Johnson  , Bottom line is with £201 collected by Lisa Tatem on completing the London Marathon in April and the £300 donated by Rolls-Royce we achieved  the Grand total of £1597.50 pre gift aid . Thanks to everyone

 

We have now completed the ride covering 2302 miles from door to door and in line with the schedule we set ourselves , No real problems experianced I required a new back tyre and Dave new chain and Sprockets in Scotland ( Thanks to Jim Allan Motorcyles in Falkirk for their help) Weather overall was kind to us and only our backsides seemed to not enjoy the challenge . Although the high mileage each day could be tough we really enjoyed it and we will keep memories of the experiance for the rest of our lives .

Myself son Dean currently serving with the RAF and a mate from work Dave Pyle who previously served for 12 years with the RAF  are getting on our Motorbikes in September to raise money for Help 4 Heroes , We will be doing the 4 points of the compass around the British Mainland approx distance 2300 mile over 4 days visiting John O'Groats and Dunnets Head in Northern Scotland followed by the most westerly point in Scotland Ardmurrcan Point we then ride back into England down to the east coast location in Lowestoft called Lowestoft Ness we then head south finishing off by visitng the Lizzard Point and Lands En d in cornwall .Our target is to raise £1500 minimum for this superb charity which continues to do great work for our serving personnel please donate anything no matter how small , Thanks in advance Dave Spooner
