Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am so excited to have made the selection for the London Marathon 2017 & I am delighted that I will be running on behalf of the British Thyroid Foundation.

This is an organisation which I am touched by as some of my family experiences the condition and I have seen first hand the effects an underactive thyroid has on a loved one.

The British Thyroid Foundation carries out fantastic support work to families up and down our country along with undertaking important research to help mitigate this condition and BTF really does rely on charitable events and donations to help meet its targets.

The hard work now starts with planning and training regimes in readiness for the 26.2 miles through the streets of London in April 2017. I am inspired by my wife Barbara who has recently trained for and successfully completed the Chester Marathon in October 2016.

If you would consider supporting me on behalf of such a worthy charity, The British Thyroid Foundation, then I would be eternally grateful.

Thank you,

David.
