Head Shave For Breast Cancer · 9 March 2019

Our aim is 'to make a difference' and to help cancer sufferers and their families through their journey with cancer.

Story

A lot of you already know, but for those who don't, in November of last year my mum Teresa was diagnosed with the horrible disease, breast cancer. Since then she has had a successful operation to remove the cancer along with 11 lymph nodes, 7 of which were cancerous.

Even though the operation was a success there is still a long, tiring and painful road ahead involving chemotherapy and radiotherapy to make sure it doesn't return.

My mum is the strongest and most positive person I know, and has decided that before the chemo takes her hair, she is going to do it herself along with me, my brother Ryan and my mate Joey (well the Lads at Crew Barbers are actually doing it).

She's asked me to set up this page to raise money for The Marina Dalglish Centre at Aintree as this is where her treatment will be taking place and the nurses and doctors there work tirelessly to make it all as bearable and comfortable as possible.

So no matter how little or how much, every penny is appreciated and we thank you in advance. Xxx

P.s if anyone fancies joining us then pop down to Crew Barbers in west derby on 09/03/19 at 5pm.
