I'm running 100 kilometres through the wilderness of Transylvania, with it's snow-capped mountains and bear-filled forests, starting and ending at "Dracula's Castle" in Bran, Romania.

I'm running (surviving) in memory of my late grandma Mary Walby, who was a beacon of happiness for me in my childhood. Her latter years were spent suffering with Alzheimer's and dementia, my grandmother becoming unrecognisable with these debilitating diseases stealing away any quality of life she had remaining.
