Event: London Marathon 2017, on 23 April 2017
We help blind and partially sighted people to break down the barriers of sight loss

Story

I need your help to raise money for the RNIB. In 2017 I’ll be running 3 marathons:
    Paris: Sunday 9th April
    London: Sunday 23rd April
    Edinburgh: Sunday 28th May
3 marathons, 3 cities, 3 countries, 3 loads of pain, 1 amazing charity. And if you’re near any of those cities, I’d really love you to come cheer me on :-)

The RNIB are there for everyone affected by sight loss. Whether you're losing your sight or you're blind or partially sighted, their practical and emotional support can help people face the future with confidence.

My dad has retinal degeneration, which has all but robbed him of his eyesight. The change to an able bodied man has been drastic, but the help that the RNIB has given him is something special. He loves to read, and the simple things like audio books have made such a significant difference to his life. I and my whole family thank the RNIB for the difference they're made to his life.

Now I want to give something back. If my fundraising can help even one other person, then all the hard training will be worth it.

Please help me to raise money for this great charity and donate generously.

About the charity

Every day 250 people in the UK start losing their sight. With your help, we can be there when people need us most, support independent living, create an inclusive society and prevent avoidable sight loss. Every pound you raise will help create a future where sight loss is no longer a barrier.
