We raise awareness of AIDS through cricket to strengthen communities and fight disease

Story

In 2015, David embarked on a charitable mission to Cameroon. A very fitting venture for David as it involved one of his life’s’ passions, Cricket.

Cricket without boundaries is a charity running alongside AIDS awareness campaigns. Dave trekked across Devon, camping at local cricket grounds and raising money for his impending trip to Cameroon.

Dave had mentioned to us on numerous occasions that he wished to do more work in the charitable field and this was a perfect opportunity for him. We know that the fun and joy that he brought to so many disadvantaged children had a very beautiful and fulfilling affect on David.  We have no doubt that he would have wanted to continue this new adventure, reaching out and helping people was a virtue he possessed in abundance.

Please feel free to donate to his chosen charity; it would have made him very proud.

About the charity

Cricket Without Boundaries is dedicated to helping, educating and developing local communities around the world through the spread and growth of cricket. Crucially, CWB also uses cricket as a tool in the fight against AIDS. CWB’s training sessions have at their heart discussion about the disease in terms of prevention, treatment and equality of treatment for those with and without the disease.
