Having been talked into doing my first "Virtual" running event I have very last minute decided to turn this into a fundraising opportunity for The Society of St James (SSJ). The event itself is a 24H running event whereby the entrants must run 1 mile on the hour every hour for 24 hours starting at 8am on Saturday morning - the Summer Solstice and longest day this year. SSJ describes itself as Hampshire's leading homelessness charity with a focus on Drug & alcohol recovery, Homelessness, Specialist supported accommodation, and Sports therapy. You can read more on their great work below and at https://ssj.org.uk/. 

I am personally donating £2.40 per mile (£60 rounded up) as SSJ is a great charity doing fantastic work helping vulnerable individuals in many local communities around Hampshire, and both I and SSJ would be very grateful if you wanted to donate.
