Having qualified for the Duathlon Age Group World Championship in Ottawa in Canada I decided to mark the occasion by raising funds for Myeloma UK in honour of my Mum, who continues to fight this horrible disease.

My friends, family and employer showed their generosity in 2009 when I started my Triathlon sporting life,  today representing GBR at the pinnacle of the sport will hopefully spur people on to show similar generosity. 

This is not sponsorship as per a normal sporting events more a marking of the occasion and doing something positive for a cause close to my heart.
