Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

David / Dad and our family were supported at home during his final weeks by the exceptional team at Kate's Home Nursing. They supported us Dad and the family in his final days with kindness, empathy, compassion and wrapped us in a cosy blanket of warmth to help us through the difficult days. Without their help we could not have granted David / Dad's wish of remaining at home where he was so comfortable. They provided care whenever we needed and in his final week, they were with us overnight as well. This enabled us to rest knowing David / Dad was in safe hands.

David / Dad was never a man for fuss and did not want flowers at his funeral. Instead, if you would like to make a donation, we are collecting for this wonderful cause to help other families who find themselves in this bewildering situation.

Kate's Home Nursing is a local charity serving rural communities in the Cotswold's, who provide free of charge registered nurses to care for people in their own homes through the last stage of illness, offering support and care for the patient and their family. Their mission is to enable people to die with dignity in their home.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
